First of all, I love Mr. Nelson's artwork in all of his books.
Ms. Levine shares the story of Henry Brown who grew up in slavery and who witnessed his own family sold to different masters and split apart from each other. As an adult, he devises a clever way to escape to freedom.
Very interesting story!
