Galaxies, Galaxies! New Edition by Gail Gibbons*

This summer I listened to Sarah Mackenzie's podcast where she interviewed Gail Gibbons.  I have always been a Gail Gibbons fan, but hearing the interview renewed my interest in her work.
Her book about galaxies contains tons of interesting information about galaxies and space.  Her art work and diagrams engage the reader.
A wonderful book to utilize during an astronomy unit.
Even though it is a picture book, this book can be used with older students when introducing the topic of galaxies.
