Welcome Comfort, a foster child, is having a challenging time fitting in at his new school. Fortunately, Mr. Hamp, the school custodian, befriends him. Throughout the years, Mr. and Mrs. Hamp provide a consistent relationship with him which bolsters his confidence.
One Christmas Eve, Welcome joins Santa Claus as he delivers gifts all over the world. Welcome thinks he dreamed the entire event, but when Mr. Hamp retires as a custodian, Welcome discovers Mr. Hamp may be retiring from another job!
