The Road Home by Katie Cotton illustrated by Sarah Jacoby

Various baby animals learn from their mothers/fathers about life in the wild, but most importantly they learn about the importance of home.  A  refrain from the book says it all, "This road is hard, this road is long, this road that leads us home.".
