Florette by Anna Walker

Mae and her family move from their country home into the city.  Mae's mom promises that she may plant a new garden in the city, but as Mae surveys the landscape, there is no room to plant a garden among the buildings.  So with boxes and chalks she creates a garden but it is soon removed or washed away.  Then one day she stumbles upon something beautiful which inspires her to make her own garden in her allotted space.
A sweet story that gardeners of all ages will adore.
