My six year old read this aloud to me with ease.
Little Critter and his family find an abandoned baby bird and raise it until it must migrate.  All through the seasons Litter Critter wonders if the now adult bird will return in the spring.

Little Critter has gone modern---Mom searches online for information about feeding the bird; dad takes photos with his i-phone!
