THIS book is charming!!
Mr. Sewell divides the book into four categories (woodland owls, tropical owls, wilderness owls and desert owls). The writing is creative, clever and witty. The word choice is outstanding.
Here is an excerpt about the Spotted Eagle-Owl pg. 95 "But that is rather prosaic-sounding for a wonderfully illuminated bird like this, which looks as though it's made out of delicate, crisp layers of Viennetta ice cream and 90-percent dark chocolate drops."
A must read book for owl-lovers!
