Antsy Ansel by Cindy Jenson-Elliott illustrated by Christy Hale*

As a child, Ansel could not sit still and found himself frequently in trouble.  His insightful father removed him from traditional school and provided opportunities for him to pursue music, the study of nature and other interests.  As a result, Ansel exploded with a love for learning.  For his fourteenth birthday, while touring Yosemite Valley, his parents gave him his first camera.  Ansel was off, snapping pictures of nature and never stopped!
Beautiful language (figurative), thoughtful layout and intriguing collage artwork make this picture book fabulous!
It also offers hope to children who cannot sit still and endure traditional school!
*Highly recommend.
