The Romans Life in Ancient Rome by Liz Sonneborn illustrated by Samuel Hiti*
My eight year old and I took turns reading paragraphs from this book to support our study of Ancient Rome. The illustrations appeal to younger readers and the text very informative yet accessible to middle elementary students.
