DK Reader Star Wars Even Droids Need Friends by Simon Beecroft

"Learning to Read Pre-Level 1"
My kindergartner and I took turns reading this book aloud.
I don't agree with the level.  Some words are quite tricky for a child learning to read.  My son was able to figure out most of the words by context clues or using his schema.
He really enjoyed the book!
Text features: table of contents, vocab. boxes, glossary, index

Lego Star Wars Darth Maul's Mission by Ace Landers illustrated by David White

Darth Maul wants to defeat the Republic must conquer the Jedi Knights.  Told in comic style.
The font style and all capital letters made it difficult for my seven year old to read.  He enjoyed it anyway.
