The Book Scavenger #2 The Unbreakable Code by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman*

Emily and James, who solved an ultimate puzzle months earlier, notice suspicious  activities between two Book Scavenger players.  One of the players is their Social Studies teacher Mr. Quisling.  As they follow him to book hiding locations, they realize something nefarious is occurring.  After Mr. Quisling finds the book (always a Tom Sawyer book), a fire breaks out.  One fire is in their beloved friend Hollister's bookstore.
Meanwhile the two friends are attempting to solve an unbreakable code that has remained a mystery for over a hundred years.
Several different problems are intertwined which make this book an exciting read!
Book #3 is scheduled to be published on May 1, 2018-The Alcatraz Escape.

The rhyming couplets make the story a delight to the ears.
