Are We There Yet? by Dan Santat

A boy and his parents climb into the car for a road trip to Grandma's house to celebrate her birthday.
He agonizes over the length of the trip, asking frequently, "Are We There Yet?".  His imagination saves him and makes the trip quite exciting!
Personal comment: How many kids anymore are forced to be bored in the car and use their imaginations?!!  Screens too often prevent boredom and thus the use of imagination and creativity.
