"Stink and Judy are trying to win a turkey trot race to win a turkey for the Thanksgiving meal. In another race they are trying to win a pie. I really liked this book because it was funny and it had similes and metaphors."
Ms. McDonald certainly knows her audience well and what they will find humorous. At one point my eight year old erupted in laughter and reread an entire page aloud to me because it was so funny! He then marked the page with an extra bookmark so he could reread it.
