Bedtime Math-The Truth Comes Out #3 by Laura Overdeck illustrated by Jim Paillot*

I love, love this series.
Ms. Overdeck strives to help kids love math just as much as a bedtime story!
In this book she shares interesting facts about our world.  Like, "Can a snake lose its tongue?", "Are bananas really a fruit?", "Have carrots always been orange?", "Have we always had left and right shoes?" and many more answers to questions.
After a paragraph which explains the answer to the question, Ms. Overdeck poses three-four different level math questions pertaining to the previous answer/paragraph.
The lowest level is "wee ones" and generally goes up "big kids" and sometimes a bonus.
At the bottom of each page are the answers.  In the back she has created a handy chart which contains the equations one should use to solve each problem.
You can subscribe to their daily email math problem which shares unique current event stories.
**Highly, highly recommend.
Borrowed from the library.
