David Macaulay, who has written numerous books about buildings and their construction, hosts tours through beautiful cathedrals. An animated story is interspersed with the filming of actual cathedrals and Mr. Macaulay's narration.

We watched this DVD for history when we were learning about France and the Notre Dame of Paris.
