Eleanor of Quitaine by Ann Kramer

The Queen Who Rode Off to Battle
This book delves into Eleanor's fascinating life.
We learned about her in history.  I wish I had read this book prior to our study!
Eleanor was a wife to the King of France and the King of England (at different times, of course!) and insisted on going with King Louis VII to Holy Land during the Second Crusade. She was also the mother King Richard and King John.
A feisty woman!
Pair with The Royal Diaries, Eleanor, Crown Jewel of Aquitaine by Kristiana Gregory.
-Borrowed from the library.
